What is BusinessX?
BusinessX is an inventory and sales tracker for small shops, on Android and iPhone (listed on the stores as "Daily Sales Profit & Inventory"). You add your items, record each sale, and see stock and real profit, offline and with no sign-up. It records stock, sales and profit; it does not issue bills or take payments.
Does BusinessX work without internet?
Yes, completely. BusinessX is built offline-first: adding stock, recording sales, checking profit and viewing reports all work with no signal at all. Nothing waits on a connection, which matters if your shop sits in a basement, a market lane or anywhere the network drops out during the busiest hours. When you are back online, sync and backup catch up on their own.

BusinessX is free to download and use, with no sign-up. Optional in-app purchases (Premium) add extras such as cloud backup and sync, sharing with staff, more shops and exports. The app shows what Premium includes before you buy anything.
Is there a BusinessX version for Windows PC or Mac?
Not yet. BusinessX is on Android and iPhone today, and Mac and Windows versions are planned. You can join the waiting list and we will email you once, when the desktop version is ready.

No. BusinessX opens straight into the app with no sign-up, no phone number and no email required. You can use the whole app without ever logging in.
What is BusinessX called on the Google Play Store?
BusinessX is listed on the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store as "Daily Sales Profit & Inventory". BusinessX is the brand name; the store listing is named for what the app does, so search for either.
Does BusinessX sync between phones?
Yes. Sales and stock changes show up instantly on every phone that shares your shop, so the counter phone and the owner's phone always show the same numbers. A phone that is offline catches up as soon as it reconnects.
Staff access and multiple shops →Can my staff use BusinessX on their own phones?
Yes. You invite staff by email, and they can always record sales. You choose whether they can also edit stock (add, change, restock and delete items) and whether they can see profit; both are off by default, and you can remove someone's access at any time.
Owner and staff access →Can I manage more than one shop in BusinessX?
Yes. You can run up to 3 shops from one account and switch between them inside the app, so each shop keeps its own stock and sales records.
Run multiple shops →What happens to my records if I get a new phone?
Your books move with you. BusinessX saves every sale to your BusinessX Cloud backup as you make it, so on a new phone you sign in and your shop, items and sales history come back instead of starting over.
Can I export my data out of BusinessX?
Yes. BusinessX exports sales or inventory as CSV, Excel or PDF whenever you want, so your records can go into a spreadsheet, to an accountant, or anywhere else. You can also delete your data at any time.

Yes. Mark any sale as unpaid when the customer will pay later, mark it paid when they do, and filter your sales by paid or unpaid. The report shows a running "To collect" total so you can see how much money is still outstanding.

BusinessX works in any currency you set, including the Indian rupee (INR), US dollar (USD), euro (EUR), British pound (GBP), Nigerian naira (NGN), Bangladeshi taka (BDT), Philippine peso (PHP) and UAE dirham (AED). You pick your currency once and every price, cost and profit figure follows it.
How long does it take to record a sale in BusinessX?
About ten seconds. You tap the item, bundle a few more if the customer is buying several things, and confirm; stock and profit update instantly. Adding a new item takes about as long: a photo, the cost price and the selling price.

Yes. Because you enter both cost price and selling price for each item, BusinessX reports net profit and margin alongside total sales, with a daily chart. Add your expenses and it shows what you kept after them, and Trends shows sales and profit over a month, a year or a range you choose.

Yes. Every item shows a green, amber or red stock indicator, so low items surface before the shelf is empty. When a delivery arrives, tap the item, enter how many came in, and BusinessX shows the new average cost and margin before you confirm.

Yes. Add an item once and give it a row for each size, such as UK 6 to 10 or S to XL. Every size has its own count, and a sale takes stock from the size that was sold.

Yes. You type the name of each row when you add an item, so it can be a size, a colour, a pack or a weight. Each row has its own count, and a sale takes stock from the row that was sold. When you add the item, its rows share one cost price and one selling price; add a row that is priced differently as a separate item.

Yes. Log an expense such as rent or electricity and it comes off your profit, so the report shows net profit after expenses. Expenses sit in the same list as your sales.

Yes. The stock list shows total stock cost at the top: the cost price of the inventory you hold right now. Restocking at a new price updates the item's average cost.

Yes. The report shows your average per day next to total sales, net profit and margin, and Trends shows sales and profit over a month, a year or a range you choose.

Yes. Record the return on the sale. The returned quantity goes back into stock and the refund is shown.

Yes. On the sales screen you tap the date to back-date a sale, and you can add a customer name to it.

BusinessX is used by small retail businesses of most kinds: grocery and kirana stores, clothing and shoe shops, electronics and mobile shops, pharmacies, hardware, stationery and cosmetics shops, and general retail. It suits any shop that buys stock, sells it, and wants to know the real profit on each item.
Who makes BusinessX?
BusinessX is built by Saiyamlabs Private Limited, a technology firm founded by Shrey Jain that builds its own products and also takes on contract engineering and end-to-end product development for other companies. BusinessX is one of its two live apps, alongside SaiyamAI.
