How to use it
Download the file and save a copy for each month. Add one row per item sold: date, item, quantity, selling price, cost price. Set the last column to Paid or Unpaid.
The Daily summary tab adds up total sales, profit, margin and unpaid sales. Type your expenses into the summary to get net profit.
Where a spreadsheet stops working
It does not update stock, it needs a laptop or a slow phone screen at the counter, and one wrong formula can quietly give wrong profit. Fine for a start, tiring once you sell all day.

What is a daily sales register?
A running list of every sale you make, one row per item sold, with the date, quantity and price. At the end of the day the total tells you what you sold.
What columns does the template have?
Date, item, quantity, selling price, cost price, sale total, profit, paid or unpaid, and notes. Sale total and profit are formulas, so you only type the first five and the status.
Does it work in Google Sheets?
Yes. Upload the Excel file to Google Drive and open it with Google Sheets, or import the CSV. The formulas carry over.
Can I track stock with it too?
The separate stock register file lists each item with quantity, cost, selling price and a reorder level, and flags items that need restocking.
